The ‘desperation bowl ‘ features the 1-3 Philadelphia Eagles taking on the 0-4 NY Giants, this Sunday at 1 PM ET at Metlife stadium, in a must win game for both franchises.

The Giants are 1 point favorites for this game, and the total of points was set at 53.

Because the NFC East division host four unstable teams, both the Eagles and the Giants know they can win it with an 8-8 record; a win on Sunday will help any of the squads.

“I’m very surprised, especially when our division was picked to be amongst the top,” Eagles quarterback Michael Vick said. “That’s football, man. It goes to show you how you have to be on top of your game.”

“Guys know that and coach (Tom Coughlin) brought that up the other day, so we understand,” Giants QB Eli Manning said. “There’s a lot of football left to be played, but we’ve got to start playing football. We’re a better team than what we’ve been playing like, but we’ve got to go out there and prove it.”

The Eagles have won eight of the last 10 overall meetings, including five of the last six games played in New York.

NY Giants are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games when playing at home against Philadelphia, and 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games when playing the Eagles overall.

The Eagles have 10 sacks in the season, but they have a favorable matchup against a bang-up Giants offense line that seems as they can’t block anybody.
