Broncos vs Ravens

  • Pick: Ravens

The 3-8 Broncos, riding a three-game losing skid travel to Baltimore to face the AFC North-leading 7-4 Ravens.

Denver just lost 23-10 in Carolina last week against the 4-8 Panthers. Their three wins have come against the Texans (1-9-1), 49ers (7-4) and Jaguars (4-7). Only one of those wins has come in their past eight games. Their win against the 49ers was ages ago and was at home against a completely different version of this San Fran team; one who had Jimmy G starting his first game of the season after Trey Lance’s injury.

The Ravens aren’t perfect, they just lost 29-27 to Jacksonville last week. But they had won four games in a row prior to that defeat. One of those was a 13-3 win over the Panthers, a team Denver just suffered a lopsided defeat to. Sure it’s different weeks and different matchups, but there’s just so little to like about this Broncos team right now. They had some success on the ground versus Carolina last week with Latavius Murray running for 92 yards, but against the Ravens’ second-ranked rush defense, they’ll likely struggle to move the ball at all on Sunday.

Colts vs Cowboys

  • Pick: Cowboys

The Colts had their fun winning a game (versus the Raiders) in the debut of Jeff Saturday as a first-time head coach. But since that win, they lost 17-16 to the Eagles and 24-17 on MNF to the Steelers. The Colts’ D held Pittsburgh QB Kenny Pickett to 174 passing yards, but still allowed two scores on the ground. Now they’ll face a Cowboys’ ground game ranked seventh in YPG.

Matt Ryan managed just 199 passing yards against the Steelers on MNF, throwing one TD and also one INT. He was also sacked three times. The immobile Ryan could be in for a long day against a Dallas D that ranks first in sacks (45) and sacks per game (4.1). Dallas is 8-3 overall and 5-1 at home and should improve both of those marks with a win for our NFL Week 13 parlay.

Saints vs Buccaneers

  • Pick: Buccaneers

This last leg of the parlay is what will increase our odds the most with the Bucs listed as -195 favorites at home over the Saints on Monday Night Football.

The Bucs failed to keep their momentum going winning two games heading into their bye as they came off that bye and lost 23-17 in overtime to the Browns last week. Tampa somehow is leading the NFC South at 5-6. At 4-8, the Saints somehow are still alive to win the division. Mind-boggling.

A win here over the Bucs would make this division even more wide-open. These teams already met once this season, in what ended as a 20-10 Tampa Bay win in New Orleans. The game was closer though than the final score implies. Tampa scored 17 of those 20 points in the fourth quarter and Jameis Winston threw three interceptions which didn’t help the Saints’ cause.

The Saints are coming off a shutout defeat, 13-0 in San Francisco last week. They won 27-20 at home to the Rams the week prior, lost 20-10 in Pittsburgh before that and lost 27-13 at home to the Ravens before that.

That adds up to ten points scored combined in their past two road games and an average of 12.5 points scored in their past four games overall.

The Bucs’ D ranks ninth in YPG allowed, which is better than all but the 49ers in that group of four that the Saints recently played.

I’ll back Brady to bounce back with a win to cash the first part of this weekend’s parlays and teasers.

NFL Week 13 Teaser Picks

With this ten-point teaser, we’ve made the Lions, Titans and Bengals all double-digit underdogs.

NFL betting sites allow you to create an NFL teaser for almost any amount of points. Head over to DraftKings to create this ten-point teaser.

Jaguars vs Lions

  • Pick: Lions +11

The Lions may not be a great team when it comes to actual wins and losses, as they are just 4-7 SU. But for sports bettors making ATS picks, they’re big winners at 7-4 ATS. Meanwhile, the Jags aren’t making anyone happy–whether that be their fans or bettors. They’re both 4-7 SU and 4-7 ATS.

While they won last week, 28-27 over the Ravens, that win came at home, where three of their four wins have come. Road wins are rare for Jacksonville who are 1-4 on the road this season and who were 0-8 on the road last year. They were 0-8 on the road the year prior as well. That makes them 1-20 in their past 21 road games. After adding ten points to the Lions in this NFL teaser, we’re getting Dan Campbell’s bunch at +11. To lose this leg of the teaser we’d be asking the Jags to not only do something they’ve only done once in 21 games but to also go into Detroit and smash the Lions. I don’t see that happening.

Titans vs Eagles

  • Pick: Titans +14.5

The Titans were rumbling along at the top of the AFC South, winners of two in a row and owning an 8-2 ATS mark on the year before last week’s 20-16 home loss to the Bengals. That still leaves them tied atop the ATS rankings at 8-3.

Prior to last week’s loss, they had only suffered defeat once in their previous eight games, and it came to Kansas City in overtime.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are 10-1 but have cooled off just a bit. They lost 32-21 to the Commanders, edged out Indy 17-16 and then won on SNF 40-33 over a Packers team that needed to turn to Jordan Love after Aaron Rodgers left injured.

Since Jordan Davis went down injured, the Eagles have shown vulnerabilities against the run. Washington ran for 152 yards against them, the Colts 185 and the Packers 106 in recent weeks. Now here comes the league’s second-leading rusher in Derrick Henry. Henry has run for 1,048 yards on the year and is third in rushing touchdowns with ten.

The Eagles also excel on the ground, ranking third in YPG. But then the Titans bring a stout rush D to the table that ranks third in yards allowed per game at just 84.5. This one has all the makings of a slugfest where neither team gets too far ahead of the other. I’ll add some extra points to the Titans as a safety for this Week 13 teaser.

Chiefs vs Bengals

  • Pick: Bengals +11.5

The Bengals snapped the Titans’ ATS winning run last week and now sit tied atop the ATS standings at 8-3, with the Titans and the Giants. They’re 7-4 SU and have now won three straight. They’ll also welcome back star WR Ja’Marr Chase in Week 13.

The Chiefs are rarely a great team to back in your against the spread picks and are just 4-6-1 this season ATS. They’ll be motivated to get the W against the Bengals after losing twice to them last season, including in the AFC Conference Championship. However, Kansas City actually has a pretty porous record against Cincinnati of late being 1-6 in their past seven head-to-head meetings.

The Bengals have the offense (6th in YPG, 5th in PPG) to go toe-to-toe with the Chiefs and even if they lose, it would be a shock if it were by double-digits.

  • NFL Teaser Week 13 picks (10 points): Lions +11, Titans +14.5, Bengals +11.5 (-120); risk 1 unit
