Rams Favored to Represent NFC in Super Bowl 54 After Beating Saints

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off of a Super Bowl loss last season to the New England Patriots. They had a phenomenal 2018 season, and to start off 2019 season, they are looking like a top contender to win the Super Bowl once again.
In Week 1 they beat the Carolina Panthers 30-27 and then in Week 2 they dominated the New Orleans Saints and beat them 27-9. Now, they are atop of the NFC Championship odds entering Week 3.

Are The Rams a Good Bet?
The Los Angeles Rams are absolutely a good bet at +450. They have looked impressive, especially their latest win over the Saints.
The offense is clicking, and their defense is still one of the tops in the league. What makes them have even more value is the fact that their strength of schedule is fairly weak, as the Saints were one of the toughest upcoming matchups for them.
After the win, the Rams knew this was a big one, especially Nickell Robey-Coleman, who knows this shut down all the talk of who the best team in the NFC is.
“Every win is a big win, but today was a very important win,” Robey-Coleman said. “It was a win that basically just closed all the chatter and the naysaying.”
I expect the Rams to continue to be the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Do the Saints Have Value?
After Week 1, I would have said the New Orleans Saints have value. Yet after seeing them get beat badly to the Los Angeles Rams and seeing Drew Brees going down with an injury, I don’t think they do.
Brees is the reason why their offense is one of the best in the league and they will now have to go their backup in Teddy Bridgewater, who still is a top quarterback. But, Brees will be out for six weeks, so even if they go 3-3, or 4-2, it will set them back in the NFC Championship hunt.
Saints' QB Drew Brees is expected to undergo thumb surgery as early as today that would be expected to sideline him approximately 6 weeks, per leagues sources.

Will a Darkhorse Team Emerge?
There are some teams that present value as a darkhorse right now. The Dallas Cowboys at 2-0 have value, as they have looked good.
Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are rolling, and their defense is always a huge factor. Dallas looks like this year could finally be the year they make the push deep into the playoffs.
Other than that, Green Bay has looked impressive so far to begin the season. But, if you are only going to bet on one team, the Los Angeles Rams have to be that team.
