Entering Week 8, only one NFL team remains unbeaten. That is of course the Philadelphia Eagles, who have another favorable matchup on deck this Sunday against the Steelers.

The Eagles are currently 10.5-point favorites, which represents the largest spread of the entire Week 8 slate. Their defense has been lights out all year, and are expected to feast on rookie QB Kenny Pickett.

On the other side of the ball, Jalen Hurts is playing at an MVP level and rushing the ball and scoring touchdowns at a prolific rate for a quarterback.

Both Pickett and Hurts are featured in our Steelers vs Eagles Week 8 player props below, so check out the odds plus our best bets to target.

Pickett and Hurts both have low passing over/under props by NFL standards. Pittsburgh’s pivot projects for only 217.5 passing yards, 13 yards less than Hurts. Our Pittsburgh-Philadelphia player props card starts with a bet on Pickett’s inability to protect the ball, as he’s been quite turnover prone in his rookie campaign.

PIT vs PHI Prop #1: Kenny Pickett Over 1.5 Interceptions

It’s not often you can feel good about betting on a QB to throw two picks, but this is one of those rare instances. Pickett has thrown three interceptions in two games already this season, and is averaging one INT per every 18 pass attempts.

The matchup couldn’t be more imposing, as the Eagles boast the league’s second-best pass defense per DVOA. They lead the league in takeaways with 14, and rank second in interceptions with nine.

Philly also generates pressure at the league’s seventh-highest rate, so we can expect Pickett to be forced into some bad decisions with the heat constantly in his face.

Pick: Kenny Pickett Over 1.5 Interceptions (+170), 1 unit

PIT vs PHI Prop #2: Najee Harris Under 49.5 Rushing Yards

Facing the NFC’s best team as 10.5-point underdogs is not a recipe for lots of rushing volume. The only way Najee Harris reaches 50 yards is through a heavy workload because he’s been seriously lacking efficiency all season.

Harris is averaging only 3.3 yards per carry which ranks 51st in the NFL. He’s faced two elite defenses this season (Buffalo and Tampa Bay) and has averaged 31 rushing yards and 2.48 yards per rush. Out of qualified running backs, he ranks 34th per DVOA while his offensive line is 25th in adjusted line yards.

Philly’s defense meanwhile, has held three of the past five starting running backs they’ve faced below 40 rushing yards.

Pick: Najee Harris Under 49.5 Rushing Yards (-120), 1 unit

PIT vs PHI Prop #3: Jalen Hurts Anytime TD

The Eagles lead the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns. Jalen Hurts has six of them. He has more first-down runs than all but two running backs, and is on pace for 218 carries and 17 rushing TD. Both of those numbers would dwarf the NFL record for a quarterback, and he’s the Eagles’ primary option once they reach the red zone.

No player in the NFL has more carries inside the opponent’s 20-yard line than Hurts with 24. He also leads the league in carries inside the 5-yard line with 10, converting five of those into scores.

Pick: Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-120), 1 unit

Last Week’s Player Prop Record: 7-0, +5.69 units
