In the Week 17 NFL odds, the heaviest favorite is the San Francisco 49ers as 13.5-point road favorites against the Washington Commanders. Although San Francisco lost to Baltimore last time out, they are still the NFL’s best team and face a rebuilding Washington club.

When it comes to game totals, the highest on the slate is 53.5, which is set by oddsmakers for the Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys game. This matchup features two of the highest-scoring offenses in the league and pits veteran quarterbacks Jared Goff and Dak Prescott against each other.

Entering the Week 17 schedule, the current Super Bowl odds price the San Francisco 49ers as favorites (+275) over the rest of the league to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. The Baltimore Ravens (+375) have the next-best odds, and they opened as -3 favorites against the Miami Dolphins this week.

Jets vs Browns Line & Early Prediction

The final Thursday game of the NFL season pits the New York Jets (6-9-0) against the Cleveland Browns (10-5-0) at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Even though the home team has opened as one of the larger favorites on the slate, we like locking them in before this line potentially shifts further.

This will be the sixth time this season New York has been an underdog of at least seven points, and they are just 1-4 ATS in that role so far. We don’t see how the Jets are going to be able to score in this game, considering they are averaging 15.4 points per game, which ranks third-worst in the NFL.

The Browns’ defense has held 11 opponents to fewer than 300 total yards, and the Jets could be without QB Zach Wilson (concussion) and tight end Jeremy Ruckert (concussion). Flacco is heading up with three consecutive 300-plus yards games, and he should get his revenge on a reeling team officially out of the playoff picture.

  • Pick: Browns -7.5 (-115)

Vikings vs Packers Opening Odds & Predictions

Sunday Night Football features a matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This line opened at -1.5 at some sportsbooks and has already started shifting towards the home team. We think the Vikings are one of the better ATS bets you can make early in the week.

The public perception of the Minnesota QB situation isn’t very positive right now after Nick Mullens threw four interceptions in the team’s 30-24 loss to Detroit. No matter which QB gets the tap from Kevin O’Connell this week, they’ll have a solid opportunity to get on track facing a Packers secondary that has given up 300-plus yards in back-to-back contests.

Green Bay has some key injuries that could impact this betting line, as top receiver Christian Watson Watson has yet to practice since straining his right hamstring in the last few minutes of a Week 13 win against the Chiefs. With standout rookie Jayden Reed also battling injury, we like the Vikings to bounce back in this spot.

  • Pick: Vikings -2.5 (-110)

Expected Week 17 Line Movement

Bengals vs Chiefs is always one of the most bet on games due to the rivalry that has developed between the two AFC juggernauts in recent seasons. While it will be Cincinnati’s Jake Browning facing KC’s Patrick Mahomes this time, we still think this spread could shift toward the underdog.

This is basically a must-win game for the Bengals, as their playoff chances get nearly wiped out with a loss on Sunday. The Chiefs continue to struggle on offense, mustering only 14 points in their Week 16 loss to the Raiders. Bettors in the NFL public betting trends are aware that Kansas City is now 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games.

The Bengals are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against the Chiefs, and the past four meetings have been decided by four points or fewer. Obviously, no Burrow changes things, but look for the Bengals to rely on Joe Mixon’s legs against a KC rush defense that just got exploited for some big gains by the Raiders.

  • Pick: Bengals +7 (-110)
