The more impressive feat for Besiktas is that they have also managed four clean sheets. Now, they will face a real test against Borussia Dortmund and Erling Haaland on Wednesday. Will they hold a clean sheet then? Probably not, but it is the frugalness and organization that will keep them in this match, especially at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.

Erling Haaland Adores the Champions League

Furthermore, one thing about this match we cannot forget is Erling Haaland’s Champions League record. The 21-year-old Dortmund striker scored 24 times in his first 20 European matches, a feat never captured before. His pace, power and finishing ability is second to none, and while Besiktas deserve respect, it would be naïve to fail to mention the Norwegian.

Dortmund will be without the likes Dan-Axel Zagadou, Emre Can, Gio Reyna and Thorgan Hazard. But, with players like Haaland, Marco Reus, Jude Bellingham and Donyell Malen still in the team, they will always have a chance.
