Finland vs Slovenia Prediction

Finland welcomes Slovenia to Helsinki in Group H action on Friday. The Fins are 1-1 thus far in qualifying, losing 3-1 to Denmark before securing a 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland back in March thanks to Benjamin Kallman’s first-half goal. However, they’ve tasted defeat in three of their last four outings.

Slovenia is flying high at the top of the group through two matchdays, winning both of their games. Matjaz Kek’s men notched victories over San Marino and Kazakhstan. In fact, they’re now unbeaten in eight fixtures dating back to last summer.

Take an in-form Slovenia to move to 3-0 in their pod. After all, Finland only has three wins in their previous 15.

Finland vs Slovakia Picks: Slovenia +210

North Macedonia vs Ukraine Prediction

The North Macedonians enjoyed a Cinderella run at Euro 2020 and then historically knocked out Italy in World Cup qualifying before losing to Portugal. While their results have been mixed since that defeat in March of 2022, the side has won their last two games, beating Malta in their lone Euro qualifier so far. This is a very tough pod though, with England and Italy also vying to come out of it, along with Ukraine.

The Ukrainians just settled for a hard-fought 3-3 draw with Germany on Monday in a friendly, a result that should give them some confidence here. But, the Blue and Yellow have just one win in their previous six appearances across all competitions.

Ukraine took down North Macedonia in the group stages of Euro 2020, which marked three victories in a row against them. I  expect them to grab another.

North Macedonia vs Ukraine Picks: Ukraine -105

Kosovo vs Romania Prediction

Kosovo has never made the Euros and it’ll be an uphill battle to break that trend. While the Dardanians notched two draws to begin the qualifying campaign, Switzerland and Romania will be seen as the superior nations in Group I. Kosovo has actually tied four games in a row dating back to November of 2022, with their last win coming in September against Cyprus by a score of 5-1.

The Romanians have every opportunity to finally make the Euros for the first time since 2016 in France. Their best finish in the tournament came way back in 2000, making the quarterfinals behind Gheorghe Hagi’s brilliance. As for the current campaign, the Tricolours are 2-0, snatching wins against Andorra and Belarus.

Kosovo has home soil to its advantage and seems more than capable of pulling off draws nowadays. They’ll keep Romania at bay.

Kosovo vs Romania Picks: Draw +220
