Leicester City vs Arsenal Prediction

Two in-form sides in Leicester and Arsenal will meet on Saturday at the King Power Stadium in Premier League Matchday 10. The Foxes come into this encounter on a five-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, most recently beating Brighton mid-week in the League Cup. Brendan Rodgers’ men also secured a 2-1 victory at newcomers Brentford on Matchday 9 thanks to a late strike from James Maddison.

Leicester is slowly creeping up the table as they currently sit in 9th. However, three other teams, including the Gunners, are also stuck on 14 points. Their goal difference is concerning, however, netting 15 times but also conceding the same number. Jamie Vardy has been the main man up top, already smashing home seven goals this term for his squad.

Following a dreadful start to the campaign, Arsenal is starting to find themselves. The North Londoners looked terrific in the League Cup on Wednesday, knocking out Leeds in a 2-0 result. Eddie Nketiah sealed the Gunners’ spot in the quarterfinals with a nifty finish in the 69th minute.

Mikel Arteta’s side is currently enjoying an unbeaten run of eight matches, which has seen them defeat the likes of Villa, Spurs, and Burnley. This will certainly be their toughest task since the Tottenham game, but the Gunners have shown they’re up for the occasion.

The visitors have won two straight games on the road against Leicester, beating them in league and cup play last term. But, the Gunners are toothless in the final third away from the Emirates this season, scoring once in four outings. On the other hand, the Foxes are in respectable form on home soil. Take the hosts to collect the full points.

Pick: Leicester City +145

Burnley vs Brentford Prediction

Burnley will be searching for their first win as the Bees of Brentford make the trip to Turf Moor on Saturday. The Clarets are currently in the relegation zone with a dismal 0-4-5 record, scoring a mere seven goals in nine fixtures while conceding 15. Last time out, Sean Dyche’s squad lost 1-0 to Spurs in the Carabao Cup.

Matchday 9 was a respectable result though as Burnley played to a 2-2 draw with Southampton. Maxwel Cornet was the star of the show, netting a brace as he smashed home two breathtaking finishes. The Clarets haven’t played Brentford since the 2015/16 Championship campaign, but they’ve won all of their last four meetings.

The Bees are certainly off to a respectable start in the top flight, sitting in 12th spot with a 3-3-3 record. Thomas Frank’s men are through to the quarterfinals of the League Cup after a 2-1 victory over Stoke but they’ve lost two of their last three PL games to Chelsea then Leicester last weekend.

Burnley hasn’t exactly been Brentford’s favorite opposition in recent memory. The side has won just once of their last 12 games against the Clarets away from home. But, the Bees are in solid form on the road this term, going 2-2-0.

Given Brentford’s poor spell against Burnley, I’m taking the hosts to finally grab their first win of the season in Premier League Matchday 10.

Pick: Burnley +170

Aston Villa vs West Ham Prediction

Villa will be looking to end their dreadful spell as West Ham visits Birmingham in Premier League Matchday 10. The Lions have lost three straight games, most recently falling to Arsenal last Friday in a 3-1 result. In fact, their backline has been very poor lately, conceding eight times during that span.

The Gunners had a total of 22 attempts but only nine found the target. Nevertheless, Villa has to be a lot more solid defensively, especially against a West Ham side who is capable of burying goals. Unfortunately, Dean Smith’s men are winless in six against the Hammers as well.

West Ham is enjoying life this term, currently sitting fourth in the table with a 5-2-2 record. They will also be coming into this fixture with loads of confidence after eliminating Man City in the League Cup in penalties, who had previously won the competition in four straight seasons.

The Hammers have now notched four consecutive victories across all competitions, also securing a 1-0 win against Spurs last Sunday courtesy of a late Michail Antonio winner. In Europe, David Moyes’ men are also at the top of their group with a perfect three wins from three.

West Ham is unbeaten in six meetings with Villa and pulled off the double against them in 2020/21. Given their impressive form, it’s a no-brainer to put your money on the visitors here.

Pick: West Ham +155
