After two wins against Hertha Berlin and Borussia Monchengladbach, RB Leipzig should be going into this match with a heap of confidence. Sure, they had a slip up against a struggling Liverpool side in the Champions League, but, they have only lost three matches since November 20th, the other two coming against Dortmund and Mainz. Furthermore, their defense has only conceded 20 times this season in the Bundesliga. Dayot Upamecano has been sensational in the middle, and he will make it extremely hard for Wolfsburg to score on Wednesday. However, one thing must be understood. Wolfsburg are very heavy underdogs to win, but in reality, there is not much between these two sides.
