The Nations League can be a complicated competition to understand. There are multiple divisions within the league with promotion and relegation moving sides up and down the tables. Ultimately, only the winning teams from the group stages in League A can go on to play in the Nation League semifinals and final. With that being said, this tournament still features loads of world-class teams and stars and with 20 games on the slate for Wednesday, it should be interesting.

Nations League Pick 1: Croatia vs France
This Nations League match between Croatia and France is an extremely intriguing one from a neutral fan’s perspective. Of course, it is a matchup between the two 2018 World Cup finalists. France won that final by a score of 4-2, and also won their last Nations League match against the same side by the same score early in September.
Croatia’s only Nations League victory came against Sweden who has yet to gain a point. Do not underestimate Croatia, but it is clear France have the edge in this fixture. Portugal is putting pressure on them to win the group which makes this game practically a must-win game for Didier Deschamps’ side.
Pick: France moneyline (+106)
Nations League Pick 2: Italy vs Netherlands
Another peculiar match in this round of fixtures is between Italy and the Netherlands. Italy, the Netherlands and Poland have five, five and four points respectively in the group, making this game important for all sides involved. It is fair to say the Netherlands have dipped since their Nations League final run in 2019.
However, they are still loaded with talent and they only lost to Italy in the Nations League last time by a score of 1-0. Italy has drawn two out of their last three and are having trouble scoring goals as well. I think that a Dutch attack featuring Wijnaldum, Depay and Bergwijn might be enough to see the men in orange through, despite glaringly one-sided odds.
Pick: Netherlands moneyline (+295)
Nations League Pick 3: England vs Denmark
Currently, atop Group A2, England looks to beat Denmark on Wednesday. This game is still very important for Gareth Southgate’s chances to win the competition so expect a strong side coming out for the Three Lions. In the reverse Nations League fixture, these two teams played out to a 0-0 draw, but expect something different Wednesday.

This England side is full of new talent and players that want to win on the pitch. I think it is clear that this team selection is a strong one and England showed it in a hard-fought win against Belgium. Picking England to win is too easy, so instead, the best choice is to go with the ‘Over’ 2.5 total goals with odds of -112.
Pick: Over 2.5 Total Goals (-112)
