NFL Week 10 Predictions

We are officially in the second half of the season, and there are plenty of things we don’t know, for example, how the heck the Chiefs are 9-0? Or how the Falcons went from being the number one team in the NFC to be a 2-6 team in 2013?

What we do know is that the Eagles, Broncos, Cowboys and Saints can score a lot of points and they will do again this weekend.  These are the NFL Week 10 Predictions:

Philadelphia Eagles pk vs Green Bay Packers pk. Game Total 47.

The Packers can’t move the ball with Seneca Wallace under center.  They will try to run it with tailback Eddie Lacy most of the time, but the Eagles will be waiting.

Philadelphia QB Nick Foles threw 7 TDs against the Raiders on Sunday, and despite I don’t expect the same against Green Bay, his offensive line is giving him time to find receivers down the field.

Foles has had blunders, for example the game against the Cowboys, but he should be ok.

“I think what happened in the Cowboys game was such a surprise to everybody because that’s not what Nick expects out of himself, not what we expect out of him,” coach Chip Kelly said. “I thought that what happened in the Cowboys game was an exception, not the rule. That’s not the Nick Foles I know.”

Consider Green Bay is 6-12 ATS in its last 18 games when playing Philadelphia.

NFL Week 10 Predictions: Eagles pk.

Seattle Seahawks -6 at Atlanta Falcons +6. Game Total: 44.5.

The Falcons eliminated the Seahawks last season in the divisional playoffs round, and Seattle hasn’t forgotten.

They might have Percy Harvin for this game, which will give their offense another huge weapon.

“We just have to do it right because we want him to finish the season with us and have this not be an issue,” coach Pete Carroll said. “For him to play at this level he’s got to be ready to go. “When he really feels secure, solid, and great, then we’ll bust him out.”

Seattle should be able to win in Atlanta, but because the game is at 1 PM ET they will have a hard time with such an early matchup.

NFL Week 10 Predictions: Atlanta +6.

Denver Broncos -7. At San Diego Chargers +7.  Game Total: 54

Can Denver cover 7 points away from home in a divisional game? They can put lots of points, but San Diego can do it as well, so the game total becomes the best of the bets.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of San Diego’s last 5 games when playing Denver.

NFL Week 10 Predictions: Over 54 points.

Dallas Cowboys 6.5 at New Orleans Saints -6.5. Game Total: 54.

Here’s the matchup you should know about this game: the Saints are the third best passing offense in the NFL with an average of 317.6 yards per game; the Cowboys have the second worst passing defense in the NFL.
