Just three of the five teams that entered week 5 undefeated stayed undefeated.  Week six will have good games and we will learn more about how squads handle success or failure.

These are the NFL Week 6 Predictions.

Thursday Night

NY Giants +7.5 at Chicago Bears -7.5. Game Total: 47.5.

The Giants are the most horrible team in the NFL with 20 turnovers and a defense that has allows over 30 points on each of the five games of this season.

NY has no running game, therefore, Eli Manning has to throw a lot, and that ends in multiple interceptions.  It’s just a combination of a poor system that will lead them to fail all the time.

NY Giants are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games when playing on the road against Chicago, but they are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games.

Predictions: Chicago Bears -7.5.

Sunday Games:

Cincinnati Bengals -7.5 at Buffalo Bills +7.5. Game Total: 42

There’s a QB in the NFL named Thad Lewis; you don’t know him and neither do I, but he will start on Sunday for the Bills.

The Bengals just recently gave the Patriots their first loss of the season, and their defensive line dominated the line of scrimmage to win that game. They beat Tom Brady, so a guy named Thad Lewis won’t scare anybody.

Cincinnati is 2-9 ATS in its last 11 games when playing Buffalo, but 10-3-1 ATS in its last 14 games overall.

Predictions: Bengals -7.5.

Tennessee Titans +13.5 at Seattle Seahawks -13.5. Game Total: 40

I don’t like to bet big point spreads, but the Titans simply can’t move the ball with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center; they need to get running back Chris Johnson involved.

CJ doesn’t have a touchdown this season and averages 3.1 yards per carry; only Trent Richardson has a worst number per carry in the NFL.

The Seahawks are vulnerable away from home, but playing at CenturyLink Field they are outstanding.

Seattle is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games when playing at home against Tennessee, and 4-2 against the spread in those six games.

Predictions: Seahawks -13.5.

New Orleans Saints +3 at New England Patriots -3. Game Total: 49.5.

The Patriots can’t find enough production to become the offense they used to be; instead, they were held to just 6 points by the Bengals last week.

They will have to match a New Orleans Saints offense that doesn’t seem to slow down.

Tom Brady vs Drew Bress looks as a great matchup, but the Patriots are not good enough; they will get there, but not right now.

New England is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games when playing the Saints, and 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing at home against New Orleans.

Predictions: Saints +3.

Washington Redskins +5.5 at Dallas Cowboys -5.5. Game Total: 53.

We all know the story.  Tony Romo plays great, then he makes one bad decision and the game is over.  The good thing about the Cowboys is that they found out they can keep up against a good team like the Broncos in week 5.

Dallas is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Washington, but the Redskins defense is awful and won’t be able to handle the Cowboys talented offense.

Predictions: Cowboys -5.5.
