A Thursday night game; two matchups that combine four unstable teams and a Sunday night AFC South clash made the list for the NFL Week 9 Predictions. Take a look:

Cincinnati Bengals -2 at Miami Dolphins +2. Game Total: 42.

The Dolphins have lost the last four games in a row and have the most sacked quarterback in the league.  Unless they find a way to protect second year QB Ryan Tannehill, they will end up with a losing record this season.

Cincinnati is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Miami, and 2-10 straight up in the last 12 meetings; however, the Bengals are on a four game winning streak that includes three wins against AFC East teams.

NFL Predictions Bengals -2.

Minnesota Vikings +10.5 at Dallas Cowboys -10.5. Game Total: 47.5

The good news for the Cowboys this week is that their opponent is as unstable as they are.

“If we don’t get called for a penalty, I think they probably had 20 seconds or so left,” Cowboys QB Tony Romo said about the last drive against Detroit, where they lost the game.

So many ‘ifs’ for a team with so many talented players.

Minnesota has no idea who their quarterback will be on Sunday; it could be Christian Ponder, Josh Freeman or Matt Cassel, but what I do know is that none of them makes for a decent one.

Dallas is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games when playing Minnesota, and 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing at home against the Vikings.

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Minnesota’s last 6 games when playing on the road against Dallas.

NFL Predictions: OVER 47.5 points.

Pittsburgh Steelers +7 at New England Patriots -7. Game Total: 44

Any other day this game would feature two heavyweights in the AFC, but not this one. Steelers and Patriots have issues all over the place; the difference between one and the other is that New England is actually winning while trying to deal with those issues.

Ben Roethlisberger struggled against the Raiders front 7 on Sunday; he was sacked five times.  The Patriots front seven looked awesome against Dolphins and sacked Tannehill six times.

Pittsburgh is 3-7 SU in its last 10 games when playing New England, and 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 meetings.

I don’t like the Pats to beat anybody by more than a touchdown, but the Steelers are a really lousy football team with holes all over.

NFL Prediction: Pats -7

Indianapolis Colts -2.5 at Houston Texas +2.5. Game Total: 45.

This supposed to be a great matchup in the AFC South, but the Texans horrible form this season has downgraded the game.

Both teams are coming off a bye, but the Colts will be playing without star WR Reggie Wayne for the first time this year.

Indianapolis is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games when playing on the road against Houston, but last time these two franchises met Indy beat Houston 28-16.

NFL Prediction: Colts -2.5
