Chelsea and Benfica will clash on a great stage as both look for the 2013 Europa League title; the final game is set to be played Wednesday at 14:45 PM ET at Amsterdam Arena.

It’s a final; winner during 90 minutes takes all.

Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League last season, and despite this trophy doesn’t mean the same, it still is a pretty good achievement.

The ‘blues’ have two injured players as Captain John Terry and playmaker Eden Hazard had problems after the game against Aston Villa during the weekend.

“Both players are injured – Terry and Hazard. We don’t know (if they will be fit for the final); we will wait for the scans”, said coach Rafa Benitez.

This is Benitez final game as Chelsea’s head coach; the manager won’t be back because they haven’t liked his work, despite he took them to final.

Frank Lampard scored twice against Aston Villa and became Chelsea’s top scorer. ‘I said before, hopefully he can score two goals then we don’t need to talk about Frank (any more). It’s a fantastic achievement for him to score the number of goals he has, hopefully he can score more in the next two games”, Benitez added.

Benfica is the underdog for the final, but most of their achievement has come because of coach Jorge Jesus, who’s an unknown character is this plot.

“He now even quotes philosophers like Blaise Pascal to show that he is becoming more interested in issues other than football,” Matos Pereira says. “He reflects more before answering a question.” Maybe so, but we can expect to see him at his most motivated and passionate in Amsterdam.

Chelsea is listed +135 to win the match and Benfica +185; the draw over 120 minutes pays +225.
