Working 6.1 innings, Cole allowed one earned run on a solo homer while striking out eight batters. Cole is now 4-1 in his last five MLB postseason decisions and 7-2 over his last nine outcomes.

Facing Cleveland three times in postseason play, Cole is 2-0 with a 1.77 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 20.1 innings on the mound. Both of those wins have come while wearing Yankee pinstripes.
