The struggling Brooklyn Nets will be looking to break out of their three-game losing streak on Saturday as they begin a road trip in the Bay Area against the Golden State Warriors, who have won four in a row. The tip-off is at 5:30 PM EST at the Chase Center.

The Nets dropped their last contest on Wednesday at home vs. Denver, but none of the Big 3 were playing. James Harden and Kyrie Irving will be back for this game but Kevin Durant is still sidelined due to a knee injury. The Dubs meanwhile, took care of the Timberwolves in convincing fashion on Thursday.

Golden State already beat the Nets back in November at the Barclays Center, 117-99.

Nets vs Warriors Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total Points
Brooklyn Nets +6.5 (-114) +210 OFF
Golden State Warriors -6.5 (-106) -255 OFF

Odds as of January 28th at FanDuel.

The Warriors are 6.5-point home favorites here and have covered the spread in three consecutive outings. Brooklyn’s recent results haven’t been kind to New York sports betting, as they’ve dropped three in a row and are 0-3 ATS.

Brooklyn Nets Embark On Tough Road Trip

Saturday marks the first of five games on the road for the Nets and almost every single one will be a battle. After they take on the Dubs, Brooklyn visits the Suns, Kings, Jazz, and Nuggets. Aside from Sacramento, it’s going to be a tough stretch for this team.

Since Kevin Durant went down, Steve Nash’s squad has gone just 2-4. Needless to say, they’ve seriously missed his presence but it is a positive for Saturday’s meeting that Brooklyn has Harden and Kyrie available. While the Nets did lose against the Nuggets mid-week, it was actually a decent performance considering their entire star trio was nowhere to be seen.

Six different players poured in at least 12 points, with rookie Cam Thomas showing out for 25. Patty Mills also collected 21 and dished out six assists. The squad shot an impressive 41% from downtown as well, but the duo of Nikola Jokic and Austin Rivers proved to be too much. Nonetheless, it was promising to see that other guys on this Nets roster can actually step up and deliver.

That’s going to be huge come playoff time.

Warriors Rolling On The Road

Draymond Green is still out and it’s unknown when he’ll return, but the Warriors are still managing to get it done on both ends of the floor. Following their fourth straight victory on Thursday, Golden State is now 36-13 and just three games behind the NBA-best Suns for top spot in the West.

This win over the Timberwolves was truly a shooting display from the Splash Brothers, who gave us a glimpse of what we all grew to love during the years of the Dubs dynasty. Stephen Curry, who is second in NBA MVP odds and Klay Thompson combined for 52 points alone. They also helped Steve Kerr’s squad shoot a ridiculous 58% from three-point land.

It was specifically a great showing from Steph because he has been in a dreadful slump. Shooting the ball at such an efficient clip will give him some much-needed confidence moving forward. Golden State is also 23-4 at home, which is a great sign heading into this marquee matchup with the Nets.

Nets vs Warriors Prediction

With Kyrie and Harden back in the mix here, Brooklyn has a real chance to end their losing streak. However, the Dubs are practically unbeatable at home and the entire rotation is clicking right now. That being said, it’s hard to bet against them. Take the Warriors.

Pick: Warriors -6.5 (-106)
