The Eastern Conference Finals continues Friday night when Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks head back to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee to battle the Milwaukee Bucks. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30pm ET on TNT.

Atlanta leads the series 1-0 after a surprising 116-113 Game 1 win. Trae Young had an all-time performance, dropping 48 points while also handing out 11 assists in the win. After the loss, the Bucks saw their odds to win the series shrink from -460 all the way down to -200.

As always, the player prop market has literally been cornered  by FanDuel with a multitude of options for bettors to pick through. Check out the table below to see the lines on the players taking the floor tonight. Scroll down to see two of the better bets on the board.

More Red Velvet Please

One serving of red velvet anything is almost never enough. We all know that to be a 100% fact. Whether we’re talking cupcakes, sheet cake or Kevin Huerter points props, it’s all deadly and we can’t get enough. Huerter didn’t exactly blow up in Game 1 but he flashed enough that he should be on everyone’s radar in Game 2.

One thing we can say for certain, he’s definitely on Trae Young’s radar.

The Hawks are headed into Game 2 in the exact same situation as Game 1. They have injuries to overcome with the biggest being De’Andre Hunter. As long as he is out, Huerter will be the answer. On top of Hunter, Bogdan Bogdanovic is noticeably hurt although he is still trying to play through the pain. Red Velvet is set up to shine right now.

Volume chasing will get us to the promised land and Huerter is in a position to see more. Huerter finished Game 1 with 13 points on a meager 12 attempts from the floor. That’s not great but he was on the floor for 36 minutes and that’s the best place a guy can be if he wants to score points. Plus, when Trae Young is doing things like this, it’s hard for other guys to get looks.

We can’t reasonably expect Young to take 34 shots again tonight. Obviously he could, but nobody should expect that kind of volume. Other guys besides Young are going to have to shoot the ball. Huerter only went 1-6 from three-land in Game 1 so if he were to get a few more looks tonight and if those looks were just a touch more accurate, he should fly over his points total.

  • The Pick: Huerter Over 13.5 Points (+104) *Alt Line

Trae Don’t Play

As good as a scorer as Trae Young is, we probably need to start paying a little more attention to him in the assist market. The books are going to jack up his price in the points market, as they should, but he is always a threat to go double digits in assists. No matter what, we’re going to get our money’s worth because Young is on one at the moment.

He’s out there throwing passes off the backboard – in the Eastern Conference Finals!

I’m going to go alt line on FanDuel again so instead of taking 9.5 at -128, going 10.5 at +142 is a better option from where I am sitting. He’s done this three times in the last five games and one of the times he fell short he ended with 10 dimes. I think the Bucks completely sell out on Young tonight and force him into being more of a distributor than he was in Game 1.

Keep in mind, he still was able to pass out 11 assists while taking 34 shots Wednesday night.

  • The Pick: Young Over 10.5 Assists (+142) *alt line
