It’s an extremely busy Saturday in the NBA, with a total of 11 games on the slate. There is no shortage of marquee matchups, either. The Golden State Warriors will face the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, while the Denver Nuggets visit the red-hot Toronto Raptors.

Elsewhere, it’s an Eastern Conference showdown between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers. Then down in South Beach, the new-look Brooklyn Nets take on the East-leading Miami Heat, who are riding a four-game winning streak at the moment. Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks also host the Los Angeles Clippers, a rematch from the 2021 Playoffs.

Randle Continues Hot Streak

The New York Knicks are simply not the same team as last season and that has a huge part to do with Julius Randle’s struggles. His numbers across the board have taken a dip, but the reigning Most Improved Player of the Year is balling out lately. Randle is averaging an insane 29.5 points, 15 rebounds, and 6.3 assists across his last four games. While New York has only won once during that span, the 27-year-old is certainly doing his part.

That being said, Randle has comfortably hit the over in all of these outings. Even more impressive, it was against a few very decent teams in the Warriors, Nuggets, and Jazz. The Knicks forward is playing with a lot more confidence, whether he’s attacking the rim or draining a corner triple. On Saturday, NY plays the Blazers, who rank 28th in the league in defensive rating. All signs point to another big performance for Randle.

  • Pick: Julius Randle Over 22.5 Points (-112)

Wiggins Dishes Dimes

Andrew Wiggins is enjoying a breakout campaign for the Warriors as he prepares to be an All-Star Game starter later this month. Although most of his impact offensively comes from a scoring and rebounding standpoint, the focus for Saturday will be his playmaking. With Draymond Green still sidelined, Golden State is relying on a number of different players to step up and take on a facilitating role. Wiggins has done just that, especially across his last handful of games.

The Canadian has hit the over in assists in four of his previous five appearances, dishing out a total of eight dimes in back-to-back contests earlier this week against the Knicks and Jazz. He’s truly making his presence felt in more ways than one and improving as a passer. While the 26-year-old is averaging just 2.2 assists on the season, his ability to move the rock and find open teammates is notably better since the turn of the year. The Lakers are a mess defensively as well. Take the over.

  • Pick: Andrew Wiggins Over 2.5 Assists (+114)
