Odds as of May 26th
Randle Bounces Back
Julius Randle had a pretty bad start to the playoffs. Pretty bad may actually not even do it justice. It was really bad. But, good players bounce back from bad games.
There are plenty of reasons to believe that the NBA’s 2020-21 Most Improved Player will have a resurgence in game two.

— NBA on TNT (@NBAonTNT) May 25, 2021
The most promising thing about game one for Randle was his shot attempts. He took 23 shots from the field which is plenty for a player as efficient as him.
In the regular season, he took 20 or more shots in a single game 25 times. He scored at least 26 points in 18 of those games. In two of them, he landed on 25 points. If his shot attempts are in the 20s tonight, he should score at least 26 points.
- The Pick: Randle OVER 25.5 Points (-118)
Ja Can Score
If you watched the Memphis Grizzlies and Utah Jazz Sunday night, then you saw what Ja Morant can do.
His role on the Grizzlies is evolving to that of a scoring point guard and it’s evident with every game he plays.
We caught glimpses of it during the regular season and even in the play-in game against the Golden State Warriors. Ja can flat out score the basketball.
JA MORANT IS LIKE THAT 🗣

Morant’s points total was expected by some to increase after Game 1 but the books didn’t budge. It is still at 21.5 for almost the same price as Sunday which is affordable at -108. Given that Morant took shot attempts in the 20s for the fourth straight game, it feels like a deal.
The opponent matters here as Morant hasn’t even needed to take 20 plus shots against the Jazz to go over 21.5 points. In four games this season against the Jazz, Morant has taken at least 18 shots in three of them. He has scored at least 26 in all of them with two 30-burgers. If Ja Morant continues to let it fly, he should score at least 22 points tonight.
- The Pick: Morant OVER 21.5 Points (-108)
