The Western Conference Finals could end tonight at the Suns Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Chris Paul and the Suns are up 3-1 over Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers and will be looking to close them out to earn a trip to the NBA Finals. Tip off is scheduled for 9:00pm ET on ESPN.

Game 4 may have been one of the uglier NBA playoff games in recent memory as the Suns squeaked by with an 84-80 win. The two teams combined to shoot 34% from the field which included a dismal 17% from three-point land. Devin Booker lead all scorers with 25 points although he fouled out.

The side and total aren’t the only game in town as FanDuel offers 100s of player props for this game.. Check out the table below to see the lines on the players taking the floor tonight. Scroll down to see two of the better bets on the board.

Odds as of June 28th

Chris Paul the Dime Master

Everyone likes a deal. Nobody in their right mind wants to pay more for something than it’s worth. That principle goes for sports betting as well. Tonight we are getting the ultimate in deals as the books may be a little low on Chris Paul’s assist number.

We’re getting a deal tonight because Paul finished with only seven assists in Game 4. Over bettors were burned but they were on the right side of that bet. Paul finished Game 4 with 19 potential assists – so the volume was there.

The Suns shot 36% from the floor in that game and it’s hard to imagine they will do that again. Especially at home with Paul being one win away from his first trip to the NBA Finals.

Motivation is not the best narrative when it comes to betting. All teams are motivated to win, especially in the playoffs but the Suns will likely look like a team possessed tonight. In the two games Paul has played in this series, he has seen and average of 18.5 potential assists per game. If that happens again tonight, he will fly over his assist total.

  • The Pick: Paul Over 9.5 Assists (+108)

Crowder for Three

Jae Crowder just joins a new team and goes to the playoffs. This year it’s the Suns, last year it was the Miami Heat, the year before that it was with the Utah Jazz. The guy is just a good, old fashioned winner and he was immortalized in Game 2 with one of the sweetest, alley oop passes we’ve ever seen.

With Chris Paul back for the Suns we won’t be taking any of Crowder’s assists props but his three-ball is number is firmly in play. Tonight FanDuel is offering 2.5 at +118 which is where we want Crowder’s price to be on that number. Crowder’s role is that of a 3-and-D guy and he plays it to perfection.

Something clicked with Crowder in the Lakers’ series and it’s carried on until now. In his last eleven games beginning with Game 4 of that series, Crowder has hit at least three three-pointers in eight of those contests. He’s getting a healthy number of three-ball attempts as he has taken at least six attempts from downtown in those eight games. Bettors should expect the Suns to come out rowdy tonight and when they do, Crowder should be one of them.

  • The Pick: Crowder Over 2.5 Made Threes (+118)
