Arkansas Wins Again
Arkansas kept its winning streak alive by rallying from a 10-point deficit to beat Missouri, barely covering the five-point spread.
Junior guard JD Notae had a season-high 27 points in 32 minutes off the bench and helped dig Arkansas from an early hole.

After Missouri went ahead 23-13 with 9:18 left in the first half, the Razorbacks countered with 16 straight points to move in front by six. Notae sparked that run by making all five shots, starting with a dunk and finishing with back-to-back three-point field goals.
Amazingly, coach Eric Musselman thought Notae might not be able to play after having a bad reaction to something he ate. At halftime, Notae threw up in the locker room.
Senior forward Justin Smith scored 16 points before fouling out. Freshman guard Davonte Davis added 11 points.

Fellow freshman guard Moses Moody was limited to a season-low five points. The SEC Newcomer of the Year came into the game with a 17.5 PPG average.
Missouri went back ahead 49-47 in the second half. However, Arkansas countered with a 13-1 spurt to move in front for good at 60-50 with 5:04 remaining.
Watford Leads LSU
Sophomore forward Trendon Watford scored 24 points to lead LSU over Mississippi. His tip-in with 23 seconds remaining put the Tigers ahead 74-68 and the cushion proved vital when Ole Miss’ Jarkel Joiner hit a three to cut the lead in half.

Watford made 11 of 14 field goal attempts and grabbed seven rebounds.
Junior forward Darius Days had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Junior guard Javonte Smart added 10 points, five assists, and three steals.
LSU committed just six turnovers. That was quite a contrast to Arkansas turning the ball over 20 times in its win.

Doing The Splits
Arkansas and LSU split two regular-season meetings with each winning on its home floor – the Tigers notching a 92-76 victory Jan. 13 as a 1.5-point favorite and the Razorbacks triumphing 83-75 on Feb. 27 as a 6.5-point choice.
In the first meeting, Watford (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Days (18, 13) both produced double-doubles for LSU. Thomas added 17 points as the Tigers shot 52.3% (34 of 65) while holding Arkansas to 34.2% (26 of 76) and out-rebounding the Razorbacks 33-21.
Notae scored 22 points and Moody had 18.
Smith (19), Moody (18), Notae (18), and Davis (17) combined for 72 points in the second meeting.

Smith also had 10 boards for a double-double and Davis had six assists as the Razorbacks held a 42-27 rebounding advantage.
LSU was paced by Thomas’ 23 points.
Arkansas is as hot as just about any team in the country and should be able to get past LSU for a second time in two weeks.
Pick: Arkansas -3 (-110)
