These two school’s are no stranger to one another having met 54 times since 1995. The Ducks hold a 34-20 all-time lead over the Trojans during that stretch, but bettors are leaning towards USC in this matchup.

Line Moving Towards Trojans

There are few major line moves on Sunday’s slate, but the biggest point spread move has seen USC move from -1 to -2 against Oregon. The Trojans pumped the Ducks 78-52 in their lone meeting this season back on February 22nd, and they did so without one of their top starters.

Second leading rebounder Isaiah Mobley didn’t suit up, but that didn’t stop USC from building a 21-point lead and cruising to victory. Mobley, along with brother and leading scorer Evan, form the Trojans’ twin towers, a duo that Oregon is not built to handle.

The Mobley brothers stand 7-0 and 6-10 respectively, while the Ducks lone healthy player above 6-8 is Frank Kepnang, and he averages only 8.5 minutes per outing. Evan and Isaiah have combined for 59 points, 37 rebounds and 8 blocks through two games, and are a big reason why USC has allowed an average of only 53.5 points per outing.

The Trojans crushed 3-seed Kansas by 34 points in the Second Round, and are currently drawing 56 percent of the money in their matchup against Oregon.

Bruins-Tide Total Rising

As far as totals go, the biggest move has seen the over/under in the UCLA-Alabama contest climb from 143 to 145.5. The 11-seed Bruins have averaged 75 points in their first three games of the Tournament, and after beating Michigan State in a First Four contest, have posted back-to-back double-digit wins.

UCLA shot 47% versus Abilene Christian in the Second Round and have drained 24 triples through three games. 3-seed Alabama meanwhile, enters play on an eight-game winning streak, and blasted Maryland by 19 on Monday. The Crimson Tide knocked down 16 three’s en route to victory, and have scored 164 points through two games.

No wonder this total is on the rise.

Bettors Still Backing Gonzaga

Undefeated Gonzaga has now won 24 straight by double-digits, and bettors are banking on that trend continuing against 5-seed Creighton. The Bulldogs have yet to be tested through two games, and have already covered point spreads of 33.5 and 14.5-points.

70 percent of the tickets and 79 percent of the money is on the Zags as 13-point favorites, a number that is down half a point since odds were released. The Bluejays weren’t exactly ATS crushers this season, going 14-16 ATS overall, and have managed to cover in one of their two tournament games.

Lofty defeats are not uncommon to Creighton, as they’ve suffered 25 and 12-point losses in the last three and a half weeks alone.
