Texas A&M Betting Outlook

A hot-shooting first half gave Texas A&M a 49-25 lead over Vanderbilt at the break Saturday and the Aggies cruised to victory.

In the first 20 minutes, Texas A&M made 20 of 29 (69.0%), including 7 of 12 (58.3%) three-point tries. That enabled the Aggies to reach the title game for the third time in program history.

Overall, Texas A&M shot 59.6% (31 of 52) and 52.6% (10 of 19). The Aggies also held a 39-30 rebounding edge and forced Vanderbilt into 17 turnovers.

Sophomore guard Wade Taylor IV led Texas A&M with 25 points and four assists. He made 8 of 13 shots from the field and 4 of 7 from beyond the arc.

Taylor is averaging 16.6 points, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals a game this season. He is fourth in the SEC in scoring and has 12 games of at least 20 points.

Senior guard Tyrece Radford added 16 points and five assists. Junior forward Julius Marble chipped in with 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

Radford is scoring 13.3 points and grabbing 5.5 rebounds a game for Texas A&M, which is 36th in the nation in scoring (76.2). The Aggies are 18th in field goal defense (40.1%).

Alabama Betting Outlook

As he has all season, freshman forward Brandon Miller led Alabama on Saturday with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Missouri. He has put the Crimson Tide in position to win its seventh SEC tourney title.

Miller shot 8 of 11 overall and 3 for 6 from three-point range in notching his 12th game of last least 20 points this season. He also had his eighth double-double.

Averaging 19.6 points and 8.2 rebounds a game, Miller was voted both the SEC Player of the Year and newcomer of the Year earlier this week. He leads the conference in scoring and is fifth in rebounding.

Another freshman forward, Noah Clowney, added 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting. He also made 3 of 6 shots from long distance.

Clowney has season averages of 10.0 points and 8.3 rebounds while standing fourth in the conference in boards.

Sophomore center Charles Bediako was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field and finished with 10 points and five rebounds.

The Crimson Tide has a third player scoring in double figures in junior guard Mark Sears, who has a 13.1 average after transferring from Ohio. He was just 2 of 10 overall and 1 of 9 from three-point range on Saturday in a nine-point effort.

Alabama held Missouri to just 33.8% (23 of 68) shooting and outrebounded the Tigers 44-28, though the Crimson Tide turned the ball over 17 times.

Alabama is third in the country in both overall field goal defense (37.5%) and three-point defense (27.9%). The Crimson Tide is sixth in scoring (82.5).
