We project ND’s starting quarterback, Sam Hartman, who is making his 50th career start, to be the difference.

Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord hasn’t played in a big game yet, and he struggled in his lone road test against Indiana back in Week 1. Notre Dame has been rolling with four straight 40-point games, and we expect the veteran Hartman to outduel the youngster McCord in South Bend.

Ole Miss vs Alabama

Another addition to our Week 4 college football parlay is a play on the Ole Miss Rebels in their matchup with the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Lane Kiffin’s team is a 6.5-point underdogs as they aim to defeat the Tide for the first time since 2015.

Alabama hasn’t shown anything this season to convince us they should be favored by a TD over an impressive Rebels team. While the Tide’s offense has at least been respectable, the offensive line is struggling big time and the Tide has only averaged 367 yards per game.

Ole Miss quarterback Jackson Dart is a big reason we are taking Ole Miss in our Alabama vs Ole Miss prediction. He’s thrown for 852 yards with seven TDs, and we project he’ll be able to do similar damage to the ALA secondary as Texas’ Quinn Ewers did two weeks ago.

Pick: Ole Miss +7 (-112)

UCLA vs Utah

Our final addition to our Week 4 college football parlay is one of the more underrated games on a packed Saturday of CFB action. The No. 22 UCLA Bruins are 6-point underdogs against the No. 11 Utah Utes, despite the fact that Utah may be without their starting quarterback Cam Rising.

Utah is undefeated this season, but they haven’t looked all that impressive, especially in their two Power 5 games (24-11 W vs Florida) & (20-13 W vs Baylor). While UCLA hasn’t faced as tough competition, they are healthier and are averaging 40 points per game so far.

This game went in favor of UCLA last season by a 42-32 margin, and we don’t see Utah flipping on a huge switch without their leader at QB. Even if Rising is in the lineup, there’s no guarantee he’ll be at 100% and won’t have rust to shake off.

The Bruins ran over the Utes last season, and with a loaded 2023 running back room led by Carson Steele, we project them to find similar success on the ground Saturday.

College Football Week 4 Teaser Picks

Clemson vs Florida State

Florida State is looking to beat Clemson for the first time in seven years when the two ACC powerhouses square off in CFB Week 4 on Saturday. While the Seminoles looked impressive in Week 1 against LSU, particularly in the second half, their performance against Boston College last week was reason for concern.

FSU’s defense will be critical in this matchup, as they currently rank 105th in the nation in explosive play rate allowed. Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnick is gaining confidence as a passer, and freshman wide receiver Tyker Brown is emerging as one of his top targets.

Florida State is very capable of winning this game, but after Clemson’s loss to Duke, public perception might not truly align with the two teams’ actual strengths and weaknesses. The Tigers have the ore talented roster on paper, and we expect their elite defense to keep them in this game.

By teasing the Tigers to seven points at Bet365 using the alternate spreads section, we get them past the key number in what promises to be a tight and hard-fought battle.

North Carolina vs Pittsburgh

While Pittsburgh has had a rocky start to the season, their pass defense has been particularly strong, allowing just 114 yards per game through the air. Forutnely, UNC has a dominant ground game led by Omarion Hampton (317 YDS) that should propel them to victory.
