Odds as of September 15th at DraftKings.
Minnesota vs Colorado
The first game on the card features Colorado hosting Minnesota as -2.5 point favorites.

— Colorado Buffaloes Football (@CUBuffsFootball) September 11, 2021
Colorado is fresh off an outstanding defensive performance at #7 Texas A&M, as they limited the high powered Aggies to only 10 points. They held A&M to just 191 passing yards and 3.3 yards per carry, and were on the verge of a huge upset before a late touchdown propelled the Aggies to victory.
The Buffaloes offense was stuck in neutral the whole game, accumulating only 260 yards, but that was against a very strong Texas A&M defense. Suffice to say, they should have more success versus the Golden Gophers.
Minnesota earned its first victory of the season last week, squeaking by Miami of Ohio. Despite the win, they were outgained by 64 yards and surrendered 26 points to the 100th ranked offense by SP+.

— Minnesota Football (@GopherFootball) September 12, 2021
The Golden Gopher have now yielded 71 points through two weeks, compared to only 17 by Colorado, and are 0-3 all-time versus the Buffaloes.
Also working in Colorado’s favor is the fact that it’s going to be 91 degrees on Saturday, and Minnesota will not be acclimated to playing at such a high altitude.
Pick: Colorado -2.5 (-115)
Stanford vs Vanderbilt
The next matchup to target is Stanford visiting Vanderbilt. The Cardinal are 11.5-point favorites, in a game that features a total of 48.5.
Stanford got off to a slow start offensively this season, but that all changed once they made a switch at the quarterback position. Tanner McKee, the number three pocket passer in the class of 2018 is now in, and the reviews have been glowing.
Stanford QB Tanner McKee, big time NFL talent. Wildly fast and accurate release coming from a 6-6 (!!) frame.
McKee was rated right there with Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields coming out of high school. Get used to hearing his name a ton
— David Lombardi (@LombardiHimself) September 12, 2021
He’s led the Cardinal on scoring drives on seven of his 10 series under center, and was the catalyst in Stanford’s blowout win over #14 USC last week. Only four teams made a bigger jump in the SP+ ratings over the past seven days, while the Commodores are perennial bottom-feeders in the SEC.
Vanderbilt finally snapped its 11-game losing streak last week against Colorado State, but needed a 38-yard field goal in the dying seconds to do so.

Despite the win, they were outgained by over a 100 yards by the nation’s 110th ranked offense per SP+, and have suffered double-digit losses in seven of their past 10 contests dating back to last season.
Pick: Stanford -11.5 (-110)
