  • The Pac-12 Championship Game USC vs Utah Player Props have been released
  • Will Utah hold Austin Jones under 91.5 rushing yards? Can Dalton Kincaid exceed 77.5 receiving yards?
  • The latest odds for the USC vs Utah players props are below, plus three bets to target

It’s conference championship week and the Pac-12 title game on Friday night promises to provide plenty of fireworks. #4 USC (11-1, 8-1 Pac-12) hosts #11 Utah (9-3, 7-2 Pac-12), with the Trojans needing a victory to all but guarantee a spot in the College Football Playoff.

These two teams met earlier this season, with the Utes pulling out a 43-42 win. They combined to produce over 1,100 yards of offense, but that doesn’t mean you should only be looking to bet overs tonight in the USC vs Utah player props.

There’s a couple of candidates worthy of a fade, including our first target Austin Jones.

Jones is the only running back with a rushing yards over/under prop currently listed, but his odds vary depending on where you look. His rushing prop can be found for as low at 89.5 yards or as high as 91.5 yards. If you’re looking to bet against him, make sure you grab the best number.

USC vs Utah Prop #1: Austin Jones Under 91.5 Rushing Yards

For some, this line will look too short given Jones’ last two performances. He ripped off 154 and 120 rushing yards against Notre Dame and UCLA respectively, scoring twice along the way. He averaged 6.0 yards per carry in those two outings, but note he averages just 4.7 yards per attempt during his four year collegiate career.

He’s failed to clear 74 yards in eight of 11 outings this season, and while a lack of volume was part of the problem, yards will be tough to come by against this Utes rushing defense. Utah ranks 21st in rush defense, and surrenders just 4.1 yards per carry. Jones had four attempts in their first meeting of 2022, and managed just 16 yards.

Also working against Jones in this game is the Trojans’ propensity to favor the pass over the run. USC runs the ball at the nation’s 93rd-highest rate, and threw the ball 15 more times than they ran it back when they played Utah in October.

Pick: Austin Jones Under 91.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook), 1 unit

USC vs Utah Prop #2: Dalton Kincaid Over 77.5 Receiving Yards

While we’re fading Jones, we’re buying Dalton Kincaid. The Utah senior tight end torched USC for 16 catches and 234 yards back in October, averaging 14.6 yards per attempt.

He’s a matchup nightmare for opposing linebackers and safeties, and is fresh off back-to-back 99+ yard performances. Kincaid ranks 1st among all tight ends in the country in total receiving yards, receiving yards per game and receptions per game, and second in total receptions and touchdowns.

Dalton Kincaid – Last 2 Games

REC YDS LNG TD
5 102 33 1
11 99 16 0

As for the matchup, it’s extremely exploitable. The Trojans rank 104th in passing yards allowed per game, and 99th in yards per completion.

Pick: Dalton Kincaid Over 77.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook), 1 unit

USC vs Utah Scoring Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Anytime TD
Austin Jones (USC) +550 -340
Micah Bernard (UTAH) +700 -195
Caleb Williams (USC) +700 -185
Jordan Addison (USC) +750 -185
Dalton Kincaid (UTAH) +900 -125
Cameron Rising (UTAH) +1000 -125
Jaylon Glover (UTAH) +1000 -110
Ja’Quinden Jackson (UTAH) +1000 -110
Mario Williams (USC) +1000 -105
Devaughn Vele (UTAH) +1100 +135
Tahj Washington (USC) +1300 +155
Brenden Rice (USC) +1500 +155
Solomon Enis (UTAH) +1700 +200
Money Parks (UTAH) +1700 +200
Thomas Yassmin (UTAH) +2300 +260
Jaylen Dixon (UTAH) +2300 +270
Michael Jackson (USC) +2400 +300
USC Defense +2600 +300
Utah Defense +2700 +330

As far as the anytime TD market goes, Jones is an overwhelming favorite to score at -340. Utah’s Micah Bernard is next in line, followed by Jordan Addison. The latter is very intriguing because he can be had for a discount if you shop around.

USC vs Utah Prop #3: Jordan Addison Over 0.5 Receiving Touchdowns

Addison’s anytime TD price is -180, but he’s just -150 to score a receiving touchdown. Considering he’s yet to score on the ground this season, but has found the end zone eight times through the air, it would be foolish to buy him at a worse price.

Addison leads the Trojans in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving scores. He scored 17 times last year as a member of Pitt, and was one of the preseason favorites for the country’s top receiver award.

His teammate and top-two Heisman Trophy odds contender Caleb Williams is a -125 favorite to throw more than 2.5 touchdowns against the Utes, after throwing for five in their first matchup. One of those was to Addison, and I’m betting they connect for a score again.

Pick: Jordan Addison Over 0.5 Receiving Touchdowns (-150 at DraftKings Sportsbook), 1 unit
