Who will keep that perfect record intact on Sunday?

Sportsbooks have the Chiefs favored on the spread despite the Ravens ranking second overall in team defense this season.

Before the season started, the Chiefs would be considered significant favorites heading into their Week 3 matchup against the Ravens. However, Baltimore has turned heads early on both sides of the ball.

The Ravens’ defense will be tested against the Chiefs’ powerhouse offense, which is sure to make for an interesting matchup between the two AFC giants. The difference is, the Ravens have proved they can match KC’s offensive production this season.

While the opening spread has the Chiefs listed at -5.5, look for the line to likely come down to 4.5 leading up to kick-off.

Baltimore’s 549 total yards allowed is the second fewest only to the New England Patriots. The Ravens have also managed to score the most points in the league (82) through two games.

With two strong offences set to clash, sportsbooks set the Over/Under on total points at 52 — the highest total line of Week 3.

Based on how exciting both teams have been out of the gate this season, sportsbooks’ Over/Under on total points for the game won’t move much — if at all — prior to kickoff.

If you’re playing the money line, the Chiefs are listed as the -240 favorites while the Ravens come in as the +200 underdogs.

Cowboys Favored by 23 Points

The biggest spread of Week 3 comes in an matchup between the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins.

The odds tip heavily in favor of the Cowboys at -23 (-105) in sportsbooks’ boards. The Cowboys have been lights out through two weeks of action, ranking sixth overall in average rushing yards per game (151) and fifth in points scored per game (33).

The Dolphins have been complete opposites, which is why the spread is so large. Miami is averaging just five points scored per game and have only managed to put up 10 heading into Week 3.

This will be the first meeting between the cross-conference teams since 2015, when the Cowboys squeaked out a 24-14 win over the Dolphins in Miami.

While 23 may be a lot of points for the Cowboys to cover, keep in mind the Dolphins have allowed 102 in two games and are averaging 51 points against per game during that span as well.

The second biggest spread set for Sunday are the Patriots at -22 (-112) against the New York Jets.

Colts have Solid History Against Falcons

The smallest spread of the week goes Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons. Both teams are 1-1 and sit second in their respective divisions.

The Falcons are slightly favored at -1 (-110) despite scoring fewer points and allowing one more on the season than the Colts. Atlanta is also playing on the road, where they have not won yet this season.

The moneyline odds for this matchup are also close, with the Colts coming in as the -118 compared to the Falcons at -102. The total points is set at 47, but look for that line to come down significantly before kickoff. Somewhere in the range of 42.5 seems more reasonable.

These two teams have played 16 times since 1966 and the Colts have won 14 of those meetings. That’s right, 14 of the last 16!

The last time the Colts and Falcons played was also in 2015, with Indy walking away with a 24-21 win.
