  • The Baltimore Ravens are 7.5-point away favorites over the Miami Dolphins in the NFL’s Week 10 edition of TNF on Thursday, November 11
  • TNF Betting Record: 0-0 ML; 4-3 ATS; 1-1 O/U; 0.69 units
  • Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa (fractured finger) is a game-time decision. See our preview and best bet for the game here

The Baltimore Ravens are 6-2 and atop the AFC North Division. The Miami Dolphins are a dismal 2-7 and their #1 quarterback is a doubtful starter.

It sure sounds like there’s another lopsided outcome in store for the NFL’s Week 10 edition of TNF.

Miami ended a seven-game losing skid with a win last week over the 1-8 Houston Texans. Baltimore is 6-1 over the past seven games.

No wonder then that the oddsmakers are putting the Ravens up as the 7.5-point road favorites. Baltimore is 0-2 against the spread this season as an away favorite.

Ravens vs Dolphins Line Movement

It’s been a week of crazy 88s in the line movement on this game. No doubt sparked by the uncertainty surrounding the availability of Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (fractured finger), 88% of all bets placed against the spread are backing the Ravens. That’s caused a lengthening of the spread from 7 to 7.5 points.

Baltimore’s moneyline favorite status also grew from -320 to -390. In moneyline wagering, 88% of bets are also on the Ravens.

You’ll never guess what percentage of public bets are backing the under of 46.5? Did you say 88%? Oh, you’re a clever bunch. That level of wagering shortened the total from its opening of 47.5 points.

Dolphins’ Tagovailoa Limited In Practice

The fractured finger is on Tagovailoa’s throwing hand, so it impacts his ability to grip the football. He suffered the injury in Miami’s Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

If the game was starting right now, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores admitted that Brissett would be his starting QB. However, with one more day left for the healing process to continue, he’s not ready yet to be ruling out Tagovailoa.

Brissett has seen significantly more starts as an NFL QB (36) than Tagovailoa (14). What’s interesting is that the Dolphins have as many wins with Brissett at QB as they do when Tagovailoa starts under center. Miami is 1-4 with Tagovailoa as a starter. He’s lost his last four starts. The Dolphins are 1-3 with Brissett at the helm.

No matter who’s at QB for Miami here’s another factor for them to fear: according to Pro Football Focus, three Dolphins’ offensive linemen – left tackle Liam Eichenberg, left guard Austin Jackson and right tackle Jesse Davis – are the top three in the NFL in QB pressures allowed.

The Ravens are tied for 11th in the NFL with 88 QB pressures.

Ravens vs Dolphins Injury Report

Besides Tagovailoa, center Greg Mancz (ankle) is also being listed as questionable for Thursday’s game. On defense, Miami right inside linebacker Jerome Baker (knee) is questionable.

For the Ravens, running back Latavius Murray (ankle), wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and right tackle Patrick Mekari (ankle) are offensive starters who are listed as questionable. On the defensive side of the ball, nose tackle Brandon Williams (shoulder) is questionable.

Ravens vs Dolphins Betting Trends

Baltimore has won three in a row from Miami by a combined score of 137-16. The Ravens were 59-10 winners on their last visit to Hard Rock Stadium in 2019. The Ravens are 5-1 straight up at Miami since 2008.

Overall, they’ve lost once to the Dolphins in 14 years. Baltimore is 8-1 straight up and 9-0 ATS in the last nine games against Miami.

Baltimore is 13-2 SU in the last 15 road games when favored by more than a touchdown. However, the Ravens are just 1-4 ATS in the last five games as the road chalk by more than seven points.

The Ravens have won three times this season when trailing in a game by double digits. Miami has lost four games this season by double-digit margins.

The Dolphins rushed for a dismal 47 yards against the woeful Texans and turned the ball over five times.

Best Bet: Baltimore Ravens -7.5 (-110)
