Vegas Golden Knights Betting Analysis

In the Golden Knights seven playoff games, they’ve sandwiched five wins in a row between losing their first and last affairs 5-1. In Game 2, they got into penalty trouble in the first period, and before you could blink, it was 4-0 Edmonton after the first stanza. Staying out of the sin bin has to be a huge point of emphasis for Bruce Cassidy’s squad if they want to hang in.

In the first two games of the series, Vegas has surrendered five PP goals on nine opportunities. For the playoffs, the Knights are the worst team still playing with a 52.4% PK.

The team has won their last six duels following a game that they failed to score two or more times. They’re also 7-1 in their last eight when an opponent scores five or more the previous outing.

Edmonton Oilers Betting Analysis

There’s not enough platitudes to discuss just how ridiculous Leon Draisaitl has been this postseason for Edmonton. He scored another two goals in Game 2, and has racked up a whopping 13 through eight contests. The next highest goal scorer has seven, and the Avs’ Mikko Rantanen is out of the playoffs altogether.

After starting the postseason with just one assist in his first two times out, captain Connor McDavid has been fantastic, with five goals and nine assists since then (tied second in scoring). He tickled the twine twice on Saturday, and added a helper. The thing that’s been shaky and inconsistent for Edmonton has been their goaltending. However, Stuart Skinner bounced back after allowing five markers in Game 1 with a 30 save performance.

Edmonton has won eleven of 13 games on home ice, and they’re 10-2 in the last twelve when scoring 5+ goals the prior outing. They’ve also taken five of their last six in Conference Semifinals action.
