San Antonio left game four slipped away from their fingers and own the series against the Golden State Warriors is tied at two games each.  Game five, a meaningful one is Tuesday at 9:30 PM ET at the AT&T Center.

The Spurs had an eight point lead with five minutes to play in game four; they were about to put the series to an end, and then they failed, or as many San Antonio players mentioned the Warriors took it away from them.

“You know you gotta give credit to them. They played very well. It’s not like we lost the game. They won the game”, Danny Green said. We had a game plan and stuck to it. Defensively, I think we did fine. We just couldn’t get the ball to go in the hole when we needed to.”

The Spurs shot a horrible 7 of 27 from three point land, and the Warriors ended the game on a 25-7 run to tie the series.

“He said, ‘I’m going to give you what I got, coach,’ That’s not the language he speaks. I knew right away that he was not 100 percent,” said coach Mark Jackson about his injured star, Steph Curry. “Once again, it’s that same spirit flowing through that locker room that refuses to quit.”

Curry had a great game with 22 points, but it was Harrison Barnes who was the ultimate nightmare for the Spurs; no one could stop him.

The Spurs are 7 point favorites in game five.
