Rangers vs Red Sox Probable Pitchers

The Rangers are expected to call up left-hander Kolby Allard (0-2, 8.47) from Triple-A Round Rock to pitch against rookie Brayan Bello (0-4, 7.27).

Allard last pitched Sunday for Round Rock and allowed one run and two hits in six innings to win at Albuquerque. He had seven strikeouts and two walks while improving to 2-3 with a 4.99 ERA in 15 starts for the Express this season.

Allard made nine relief appearances for the Rangers earlier in the year. The last came July 12 against the Oakland Athletics when he was charged with two runs in 0.2 innings.

In two career starts against the Red Sox, Allard is 0-1 with an 8.00 ERA. His lone career start at Fenway Park came last season and he yielded three runs over six innings in a no-decision.

Alldred has a 0.00 ERA on the road in the major league this season, albeit in just two games. His ERA in the day is 3.38 in three games.
