The LA Clippers (7-9, 2-6 away, 6-10 ATS) let a big opportunity to climb back to .500 slip away on Monday night, falling 113-104 to Denver as 11-point home favorites. The Nuggets were missing three-fifths of their starting lineup, including Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

But oddsmakers haven’t soured too much on LAC, positioning the Clippers as two-point road favorites at the Sacramento Kings (10-6, 5-1 home, 9-7 ATS) on Wednesday night at the Golden 1 Center. Tip off is scheduled for 7:10 pm PT/10:10 pm ET.

The only significant injury on either side is Sacramento’s Keegan Murray, who is listed as a game-time decision in today’s NBA lineups due to a back injury. Murray is fourth on the Kings in scoring (13.2 PPG), second in rebounding (6.2 RPG).

Clippers Struggling Since Adding Harden

LA has fallen two games under .500 despite starting the year 3-1. Since adding James Harden on Nov. 6, the Clippers are just 4-7 straight-up. Their only road victories in that span came over the lowly San Antonio Spurs, who are a Western Conference-worst 3-14. The 34-year-old is averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting 44.2% from the field and 36.7% from three.

The lone bright spot in Monday’s loss to Denver was Kawhi Leonard, who scored 31 point with eight rebounds, though he needed 26 field-goal attempts to get there.

Kings 8-2 in Last Ten, But Playing Back-to-Backs

Coming off a 48-34 season which saw them grab the #3 seed in the West, the Kings are proving this year that it was no fluke. Four games over .500, Sacramento currently holds the #6 spot in the Western Conference portion of the NBA playoff bracket.

With star point guard De’Aaron Fox in the lineup – which he will be tonight – the team is 8-3 on the year.

One of the main reasons for Sacramento’s underdog status tonight is the fact that they played a gruelling game last night with Golden State, ultimately emerging with a 124-123 home win.

Fox led the way with 29 points while Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk both added 21. Point forward Domantas Sabonis stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, ten assists, and eight rebounds.

Wednesday’s game is the first meeting of the year between the Kings and Clippers, but Sacramento took the season series 3-1 last year.

Player props and odds from the DraftKings Sportsbook app on Nov. 29.

Fox is listed with the highest point total tonight at 27.5, which is more than two lower than his season average of 29.8 PPG.

Wednesday’s NBA player props list both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard with a point-total over/under of 24.5. While Leonard was leading the offense in Monday’s loss to Denver, George, the Clippers’ leading scorer (), was nearly invisible with just  six points on 2-of-13 shooting.

Clippers vs Kings Prediction

Back-to-backs notwithstanding, the Kings should not be home underdogs to the discombobulated Clippers right now, who are just 2-6 on the road this season.

Sacramento’s core of Fox, Sabonis, Huerter, and Monk are all 27 or younger and are going to have an easier time dealing with fatigue than the Clippers’ ageing roster, which is playing its fourth game in six days.

LAC vs SAC pick: Kings moneyline (+110)
