May 26th NBA Projected Starting Lineups
Wizards vs 76ers Projected Lineups
Russell Westbrook | PG | Ben Simmons |
Raul Neto | SG | Seth Curry |
Bradley Beal | SF | Danny Green |
Rui Hachimura | PF | Tobias Harris |
Alex Len | C | Joel Embiid |
The Wizards will roll with the same starting lineup as Game 1, with no new injuries to report. The only players sidelined are long-term absentees Thomas Bryant (knee) and Deni Avdija (ankle) who are both out for the season.
As for the Sixers, they have a fully healthy roster on Wednesday. Seth Curry left the series opener shaken up, but he ultimately returned in the second half and is expected to suit up here.
Hawks vs Knicks Projected Lineups
Trae Young | PG | Elfrid Payton |
Bogdan Bogdanovic | SG | RJ Barrett |
John Collins | SF | Reggie Bullock |
De’Andre Hunter | PF | Julius Randle |
Clint Capela | C | Taj Gibson |
The Hawks don’t have any new absences to report. Brandon Goodwin (illness) is out for the season, while Cam Reddish (Achilles) could return for the second round if Atlanta gets there. For the Knicks, there will be one notable change.
Since Noel is questionable, we’ll probably see veteran Taj Gibson start at the five. He was relatively solid in Game 1, scoring five points and grabbing a key nine rebounds in 24 minutes. Mitchell Robinson (foot) is working hard at getting back to full strength, but he’s out for this one.
Grizzlies vs Jazz Projected Lineups
Ja Morant | PG | Mike Conley |
Dillon Brooks | SG | Donovan Mitchell |
Kyle Anderson | SF | Bojan Bogdanovic |
Jaren Jackson | PF | Royce O’Neale |
Jonas Valanciunas | C | Rudy Gobert |
The Grizzlies were absolutely brilliant in the series opener, pulling off the upset thanks to Dillon Brooks’ 31 points and Morant’s 26. They have zero injuries for Game 2.
For Utah, it was a very odd situation when it came to Donovan Mitchell’s potential return. According to league sources, he was supposed to play on Sunday after his own training staff cleared him, but the Jazz training team held him out.
The shooting guard was not happy with the decision, either. But, with him finally back in the fold on Wednesday, expect Utah to have a lot more offensive firepower here. Joe Ingles will most likely shift to the second unit to make room for Mitchell.
