Ohio is a one-point favorite and a -125 pick on the moneyline in the college football odds, giving it an implied win probability of 55.56%. The weather forecast calls for sunny, with a high of 63.

Wyoming Betting Outlook

Wyoming will be without leading rusher Titus Swen, who was removed from the program earlier this month for violating team rules. His 1,039 yards rushing ranks fifth in the Mountain West Conference.

Wyoming’s second-leading and third-leading rushers, Dawaiian McNeely (356 yards) and D.Q. Jones (346), will miss the game because of injuries.

That leaves fourth-stringer Joseph Braasch as the starting running back. He has just 91 yards on 29 carries this season.

Thus, the Cowboys will rely on quarterback Andrew Peasley, who has had an up-and-down season. He has completed just 51.4% of his 245 passing attempts for 1,388 yards and nine touchdowns with eight interceptions.

Peasley struggled against Fresno State. He was just 12-of-29 passing for 104 yards and got intercepted twice.

The Cowboys managed just 191 total yards and 12 first downs in 13 possessions. They are averaging just 20.8 points a game, which ranks 117th in the country, and they are 124th in total yards with a 315.5 average.

Joshua Cobbs is Wyoming’s top receiver with 35 catches for 407 yards and two touchdowns.

Wyoming is 9-8 in bowl games, including beating Kent State 52-38 in last year’s Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Ohio Betting Outlook

CJ Harris will make his third straight start at quarterback in place of Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year Kurtis Rourke, who sustained a season-ending knee injury.

Harris is 32-of-64 passing this season with 393 yards, one TD, and one interception. In the MAC title game against Ohio, he completed 17 of 31 attempts for 163 yards with one interception.

O’Rourke led the conference with 3,256 passing and 26 touchdown passes. He helped Ohio improve by six wins over its 3-9 finish last season, a turnaround that gained MAC Coach of the Year honors for Tim Albin.

Running back Sieh Bangura was the conference Freshman of the Year. He is fifth in the MAC with 940 yards rushing in 197 attempts with 12 touchdowns.

Sam Wiglusz’s 11 scoring receptions are tops in the conference. He has 69 catches for 850 yards.

Ohio is averaging 31.9 points a game (40th in the nation) and 424.4 total yards (39th).

The Bobcats’ last bowl appearance came in the 2020 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl when they beat Nevada 30-21. Ohio is 5-8 overall in bowls.

Wyoming vs Ohio Prediction

Wyoming has won both meetings with Ohio, each by one point, in 2007 at Athens and in 2008 at Laramie.

Ohio is looking for just its third 10-win season in 1968. Even without Rourke, the Bobcats have enough firepower remaining to beat Wyoming.

Pick: Ohio -1 (-115)
