  • In  the Raiders vs Steelers inactive and injury report, Pittsburgh rookie QB Kenny Pickett will play after missing last week with a concussion
  • The Raiders have three regular offensive linemen who are questionable for Saturday
  • Read below to find out who’s in and who’s out prior to this Saturday night kickoff

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their quarterback of the future present in Week 16 as they host the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kenny Pickett, out with a concussion suffered early in their Week 14 loss to Baltimore, will be back in the lineup in a matchup of two teams desperately trying to keep their faint playoff hopes alive in the AFC.

The NFL odds have the visiting Raiders as 2-point road ‘dogs, with a total set at 47.5.

Las Vegas kept their playoff push alive last week with a Chandler Jones catch off a lateral pass gone wrong, taking it back to the house for a wild last-second win over the Patriots.

Las Vegas Raiders Injury Report

The only Vegas player that has been already ruled out is CB Rock Ya-Sin, who will miss his third straight game with a knee injury.

Much of the concern for the Raiders is who will be available on their offensive line. Guard Alex Bars (knee), tackle Jackson Barton (back) and guard Dylan Parham (knee) all missed at least one practice and were limited in others. They are all listed as questionable for Saturday.

Las Vegas’ line has helped the Raiders rank 13th in the run game with 126.2 yards per contest, and they’ve allowed the 7th-fewest sacks in the league, with 26.

On a positive note, guard/tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (wrist) was a full participant at practice this week, and should be good to go.

Defensive tackle Andrew Billings (fibula), could make an appearance for the first time since Week 12. LB Darien Butler (quadricep) is questionable, while safety Duron Harmon (shoulder/neck), got in a full practice Thursday, though his status was not listed for Saturday.

Pittsburgh Steelers Injury Report

Aside from Pickett, three other prominent Steelers are dinged up for Saturday.

Offensively, wide receiver Diontae Johnson is dealing with a toe injury, which caused him to miss practice Thursday. He’s listed as questionable, but all signs indicate he should be available.

On the defensive side, safety Terrell Edmunds (hamstring) missed practice this week too, and is also questionable. As for LB Myles Jack (groin), he was a full participant in practice but is still listed as questionable.

Pittsburgh’s defense ranks seventh against the pass, but they’re a bottom-10 unit defending the pass, allowing 238.8 yards per game.

Other notable Steelers that missed practice this week include WR George Pickens (illness) and RB Najee Harris (hip). TE Pat Freiermuth (foot) was listed but was a full participant in all practice sessions. All three are expected to play.

How Can Injuries Affect Raiders vs Steelers Lines?

If Vegas’ offensive line is down at least a pair of their regulars, their -2 line could be shaved by a half-point as we close in on kickoff.

The stats might not spell it out, but the Steelers are a respectable defense, compromised as TJ Watt was injured. In their last four games, Pittsburgh has allowed 17 points or less in each.

Jack and Edmunds are key contributors to that Pitt defense, so there’s potential that line could expand the other way if both can’t go, as the Raiders are a top-10 scoring team at 24.1 points per game.
