Quarterback Kirk Cousins has been largely steady, extending his current streak of games with at least one scoring pass to 36 while tossing for seven touchdowns. The loss of Bridgewater has forced the Dolphins to turn to the rookie Thompson, who went 19-for-33 for 166 yards, no scores, and one pick the rest of the way. Overall, the Dolphins have produced just one total scoring pass over the past 10 quarters of play. This has placed an added burden on the Dolphins’ rushing corps.
