Sunday is packed with good games, and despite the Indiana Pacers taking on the New York Knicks doesn’t truly make any difference in the standings, the game is worth watching just because of the fighting rivalry these two have.

The Knicks will be second in the East and the Pacers third, which means they will face each other in the second round if no surprises are around in the first round of the playoffs.

Indiana lost at home against the Nets on Friday, and they know they need to step up before entering the playoffs. “We have teams come into our building and really play comfortable,” Paul George said. “We want to defend our home court.”

“I think as a group we should be very concerned,” David West said. “We’re not showing the ability to play complete games, and at this time of year we should be focusing on tweaks we’re going to make as the year comes to a close.”

The Knicks beat the Cavaliers on Friday night by 10 points; Carmelo Anthony keeps his sensational form scoring 31 points.

“Nobody wanted to play big minutes, especially our two big guys (Anthony and Smith), so everything worked out great,” Woodson said. “I was a little worried how we’d come out after last night, but we came out with energy and sustained it throughout the game.”

The Pacers lead the series against the Knicks this season 2-1, but Indiana is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing New York.
