Prop #1: Travis Hunter Over 73.5 Receiving Yards

Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter has expressed disappointment with his Week 2 performance vs Nebraska despite the fact he caught three passes for 73 yards. This is likely due to the fact he has Heisman aspirations and racked up over 100 yards in the CU season opener.

We expect Hunter to show out on Saturday night facing a Colorado State pass defense that is allowing a staggering 466 yards per game through the air this season. When you look at the Rams’ last game against Washington State, the Cougars’ top pass catcher was able to go off for 168 yards.

Hunter has averaged 96 receiving yards per game, and this current betting line suggests the sophomore will turn in his worst showing of the season against his weakest opponent to date. We simply don’t see that happening. Nebrasak’s defense is legit under Matt Rhule, and Hunter will find much more success against this CSU secondary.

Pick: Travis Hunter Over 73.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at Bet365)

Prop #2: Justus Ross- Simmons Over 54.5 Receiving Yards

Colorado State wide receiver Justus Ross-Simmons is being undervalued by the betting market ahead of Saturday’s game. While all the hype is on Sanders and the Buffs, Ross-Simmons quietly went off for 123 receiving yards in his season opener against Washington State.

We expect Colorado to win this game comfortably, but the game total is set at 63 points for a reason. The Rams are capable of putting up a few scores on this Buffs’ defense, and we project Ross-Simmons to be a focal point of CSU’s offensive gameplan.

During the 2022 campaign, Ross-Simmons averaged 53 receiving yards per game as a freshman. He’s projected to take a big step forward this season, and he should exceed his player prop over/under facing a CU secondary that struggled against TCU in the opener.

Pick: Justus Ross- Simmons Over 54.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Scoring Prop: Sheduer Sanders Anytime TD

Sheduer Sanders found paydirt on the ground against Nebraska, and we like him to get into the endzone once again on Saturday against CSU. Sanders possesses terrific athleticism to move around the pocket, and he doesn’t hesitate to take it himself when the opportunity arises.

Dating back to last season, Sanders has rushed for a score in two of his past three contests. Colorado State gave up three rushing touchdowns to WSU’s two quarterbacks last weekend, and they won’t be able to stop Sanders from sneaking in for the score on Saturday.

Bet365 is offering a Sanders anytime touchdown at +160 odds, which is solid value when you consider the prices on some of CU’s other players. The odds imply there is only a 38.5% chance of Sanders getting a TD, but that percentage should be higher when you consider the lackluster Rams’ defense.

Pick: Shadeur Sanders Anytime TD (+160)
