NASCAR heads to Phoenix, Arizona for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship on Sunday afternoon. This is after the race at Martinsville, where Alex Bowman bumped Denny Hamlin out of the way to get his fourth win of the season. The NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race odds favor Kyle Larson at +190. However, some other NASCAR betting choices are there this week at Phoenix as the season concludes.

NASCAR Cup Series Odds & Betting Strategy

Betting on NASCAR can be daunting, but a viable strategy is to utilize track data well. Dominators like Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. are known quantities on certain types of tracks. Then, there was the rise of Hendrick Motorsports last year as Chase Elliott won the 2020 Championship. After that, the idea is to sprinkle money on some middle-tier drivers along with the tops. Drivers have strived all year to get to the Championship Four.

The goal is to get to the Round of 16 by either winning a race (while riding full time) or finishing well into the top-16 in points). Points are accumulated by placing well in stages and then when the checkered flag is waved. From there, it is all about advancing by winning or placing well. Survival is key in each round. Accidents happen.

Driver Starting Odds Current Odds
Kyle Larson +950 +155
Chase Elliott +550 +273
Denny Hamlin +650 +360
Martin Truex Jr. +775 +415

Odds as of November 5th at NASCAR Cup Series Odds

Kyle Larson was able to hold off everyone so long because he drove like “safe is death”. His risky nature benefitted as he won nine races on the season, including two of the last three. It is why he is a favorite on Sunday to win it all.  Larson has the biggest shift compared to the other three Championship Four drivers. Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Martin Truex Jr. were among the top favorites from the start. Their shift has been less drastic.

NASCAR Cup Series Championship Betting Promos & Bonuses

Caesars Sportsbook has a $1,001 free bet for the finale, while WynnBet has up to a $1,000 risk-free bet when placing a wager of $20+ and minimum -150 odds.

That is some solid value considering how volatile NASCAR can be. Getting second chances to bet on other sports is always a bonus.

How to Bet NASCAR Cup Series Championship

NASCAR drivers will run on the 1-mile Phoenix Raceway when the flag drops for the Sunday afternoon race beginning around 3:00 PM EST. As always, one can check out the entire race preview right here. The race is normally 312 laps.

Kyle Larson benefits from the odds. He also has five top-ten finishes in his last six races at Phoenix, with an average finish of 7.00.

Now, Larson does not lead a lot of laps at Phoenix. His percentage there is 3.04%. Interestingly, the Hendricks Racing car is then followed by Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and finally Martin Truex Jr. to round out the Championship Four.

Kyle Larson will do almost anything to win a race. He has won nine times this year. If he wins a tenth, he takes home his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

Chase Elliott is the second betting favorite at +350 in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds. Four drivers have odds of +500 or shorter. Martin Truex Jr. may be the one to watch out of the Championship Four and is our best bet.

Also, Caesars Sportsbook has a Martin Truex Jr. odds boost (Was +380, now +450 to win). Do not forget that one. The best advice is to keep looking. DraftKings and FanDuel do not currently have odds boosts.
