Both the Blackhawks and the Flyers sit well outside the playoff picture in their respective conferences. This game may be more of an audition for a lot of players as we move closer to the NHL trade deadline on March 21st.

Jonas Brodin scored the game winner for the Wild handing the Flyers their 21st loss in their last 24 games! Overall, they have won just 9 of 28 games at home this season. In fact, Philadelphia has the worst record in the entire NHL since the calendar flipped to 2022.

The Chicago Blackhawks new General Manager, Kyle Davidson, met with his key veterans after taking over to make sure they were aware of his plan to rebuild the team as the trade deadline gets nearer.

Patrick Kane, Toews and Co. seemed to respect his honesty and performed admirably in Davidson’s first game since being officially named GM, defeating the Oilers 4-3 in overtime.
