I’m not going to lie, the over/under for this contest surprises me a bit. While the spread really hasn’t moved, the total points predicted to be scored in the Super Bowl odds has steadily risen since we’ve known the outcomes of each conference championship game.
Opening up at 49.5 points, it increased a few times and currently stands at a total of 51 between two teams who haven’t combined to hit that total with their opponents in any of their playoff games yet.

Although the Eagles’ first two playoff encounters were blowouts, allowing them to rotate in more options, Gainwell had 29 touches combined in those two outings. He totaled 74 yards against San Francisco and 121 yards from scrimmage against the Giants.
