  • Everything you need to know about the Super Bowl 57 final injury report for the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is right here
  • Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire was activated from the IR but has been ruled out of the game
  • Eagles punter Arryn Siposs (ankle) was activated from IR and will kick in the big game

Amazingly, the Chiefs vs Eagles injury report for Super Bowl 57 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, is showing just one starter with an injury designation.

Earlier this week, the Chiefs placed wide receiver Mecole Hardman on injured reserve. He’ll miss the big game due to a pelvis injury.

Kansas City activated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire from IR, however, he’s been ruled out prior to game time.

Philadelphia is bringing back punter Arryn Siposs for the Super Bowl. He’d been on IR since Week 14 due to an ankle injury.

Oddsmakers are listing the Eagles as 1.5-point favorites in the game. Philadelphia is given an implied probability of victory of 52.9%. Weirdly, in the Chiefs vs Eagles public betting splits spread bettors are currently backing Philadelphia, while moneyline splits are going with Kansas City.

The game is being broadcast by FOX. Kickoff is set for 6:30 pm ET at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, February 12.

Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report

Siposs was hurt in a game against the New York Giants. His replacement Brett Kern was failing to fill the shoes of his predecessor.

Kern is averaging averaging 42.2 yards per punt with a 37.7-yard net average. Meanwhile, Siposs is averaging 45.6 yards per punt this season with a 40.5-yard net. Siposs is also the regular holder for Eagles kicker Jake Elliott.

Philadelphia’s other injury concern also involves special teams. Wide receiver Britain Covey is questionable with a hamstring injury. Covey is Philadelphia’s main punt return man.

The Eagles are opting not to activate third-string center Brett Toth from the PUP, so he’ll be out for the game. Also out is backup guard Josh Sills. Last week, Sills was indicted by a Guernsey County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court grand jury on one count of alleged rape and one count of the alleged kidnapping. Both charges are first-degree felonies.

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report

The biggest news in terms of the Kansas City injury report was regarding who is no longer populating the list. With Hardman already out, there was cause for concern as WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) were listed as questionable.

However, both players were insisting at the time that they were trending toward playing, and they’ve been since proven correct.

Hardman’s absence really can’t be viewed as all that impactful. He caught two passes for 10 yards in the AFC Championship Game win over the Cincinnati Bengals. That was Hardman’s first game action since Week 9. In the 10 games he’s been out, Kansas City is 9-1, so the Chiefs aren’t really missing him at all.

On defense, weak side linebacker Willie Gay (shoulder) and right cornerback L’Jarius Snead (concussion) are also going from an early-week questionable designation to no designation at all. Both players are cleared to play in Super Bowl 57.

How Could Injuries Affect the Eagles vs Chiefs Lines?

This could be the healthiest game in Super Bowl history. Every single first and second string player for the Chiefs other than Hardman are all good to go. Every single player who’d worn an injury designation at the start of the week were full practice participants on Friday, the final workout before the big game and making your Chiefs vs Eagles picks.

Although Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes (high ankle sprain) doesn’t have an injury designation, he was admitting early this week that he’s not a t 100%. Something to keep in mind as you plot your Super Bowl 57 player prop wagers.

Not one Eagles starter is showing up on the injury list meaning there is plenty to choose from for your Chiefs vs Eagles props. On Saturday, the Eagles were adding wide receiver Greg Ward and safety Anthony Harris from the practice squad to the active roster. Ward is giving Philly added depth in terms of punt return specialists and wideouts should Covey be limited.
