Wimbledon 2023 started on July 3 and the finals will take place on July 15 for the women and July 16 for the men at the historic All England Club in Wimbledon, London. We’ve been tracking the odds for all competitors across a number of sportsbook apps and tennis betting sites since they first became available, and have charted them in the graphs and tables below. 2023 Wimbledon Men’s Singles Top Contenders

Tournament favorite Djokovic is into the Wimbledon semifinals after defeating Andrey Rublev 3-1 in the quarterfinals. Djokovic now has odds of -190 and is easily the odds-on favorite for his eighth title. Those odds remained nearly identical at -180 once a Djokovic versus Alcaraz final was confirmed on Friday.

• [Jun 30] With Medvedev dropping from +700 earlier in June to +2500 and Sinner from +1300 to +2000 after Friday’s draw, there is a big drop-off from the top two favorites of Djokovic and Alcaraz at -160 and +350 respectively

Novak Djokovic at -180 odds has an implied probability of 64.29% to win the tournament. Carlos Alcaraz is the underdog in the final at +150 odds and a 40.0% chance of winning. All odds as of July 14th at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Odds for Recent Wimbledon Men’s Singles Champions

A lot of familiar names on this list. Or more so, a few familiar names. The “Big Three” have dominated Wimbledon for much of the past decade with only Andy Murray in 2016 breaking up their dominance. Novak Djokovic has now won each of the last four tournaments that have been played.

He won the 2022 title over Nick Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6.

Roger Federer has won eight Wimbledon titles, including five straight from 2003-2007. That’s the most, ahead of William Renshaw, Pete Sampras with and now Djokovic all with seven. Can Djokovic tie Federer with an eighth title in 2023?

The US has a long way to go to catch up to the UK, which has won 37 Wimbledon titles since 1877. Djokovic with his seven titles, now has Serbia in the mix as one of the nations with the most titles, tied alongside France and Sweden with seven.

2023 Wimbledon Women’s Singles Top Contenders

After defending champion Rybakina was knocked out by Jabeur and Sabalenka took down Keys in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, those two players took over the favorites role heading into the semifinals. But after Jabeur took down Sabalenka she’a now the favorite and returns to the final for the second time in two years.

• [Jul 15] Marketa Vondrousova pulled the straight sets upset 6-4 6-4 over Ons Jabeur to win her first Wimbledon title
• [Jul 14] Ons Jabeur defeated Aryna Sabalenka in three sets despite losing the first set and Marketa Vondrousova took out Elina Svitolina 2-0 in the semis to reach her first Wimbledon final
• [Jul 12] Aryna Sabalenka is the new favorite entering  the semifinals. She shortened from +200 to +135, while Ons Jabeur shortened from +550 to +200 after both won in the quarters
• [Jul 11] After knocking off tournament favorite Swiatek, Svitolina now has odds of +450 and Rybakina has become the new favorite at +200
• [Jul 10] Swiatek fell behind to Bencic in the Round of 16 but rebounded to move onto the quarters. The one dropped set is her only lost set this tournament and she’s the +160 favorite among the final eight
• [Jun 30] Petra Kvitova’s odds have been shortening this past month from +2500 earlier in June to +1300 after the draw, making her the third favorite
• [Jun 15] Earlier this year Elena Rybakina was +700 to win Wimbledon, but her odds have shortened to +400 in recent weeks. Karolina Muchove has had a strong 2023 and has surged in the odds to become the sixth favorite at +1800
• [Feb 15] The early three clear favorites on the women’s side are Swiatek (+450), Sabalenka (+650) and Rybakina (+700)

New favorite Sabalenka has odds of +135 giving her an implied probability of 42.55% to win the Wimbledon Women’s Singles title.

Odds for Recent Wimbledon Women’s Singles Champions

Ons Jabeur has moved into the favorite’s role with the Wimbledon Women’s final coming up on Saturday. She defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals, who was the previous favorite.

With her win in 2023, Elena Rybakina became Kazakh to win Wimbledon. There has now been a winner from a different nation in each of the past six years the tournament has been played.
